Roman Rodríguez
Spain Country Chair

Mr. Roman Rodríguez is the founder of Origen Global, an American based marketing and advertising agency. Origen Global is a leader in media and advertising that serves as a platform for international companies that want to increase their positioning in Latin America.

Previously, Roman founded in 1992 ROYPASA, a media and advertising company with a then, completely innovative approach to marketing with a diverse portfolio of clients. His success in ROYPASA was followed by a much larger venture in 2003 with the creation of GRUPO EÑE DE COMUNICACIÓN, which became one of the most important Spanish advertising companies. 

His success in these ventures, led him to the creation in 2008 of Dominio de Proyectos, an investment fund focused on communication, sports and technology projects. Since then, Mr. Rodríguez has launched over 70 companies and is still participating in over 50 of them. 

Roman currently sits on the board of many not for profit foundations such as Scholas Ocurrentes, a pontifical Foundation created by Pope Francis; the World Boxing Council and the Spanish Cinematography Academy among many others. 

 

Héctor Sulaimán
Mexico Country Chair

A Mexican businessman with more than 30 years of experience, Hector has distinguished itself as a renowned businessman in the promotion and development of business in Mexico, the USA and Latin America. During his career he has also served as chief legal, financial and business advisor for major leading Mexican and foreign companies. He has also acted as counsellor and advisor to politicians and public personalities of important organisations, such as the Council of advisors of the Foundation of his Holiness the Pope Francisco I, SCHOLAS OCURENTES. 

He currently serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors and founder of companies and firms specialized in priority sectors for the economic development of Mexico and Latin America and serves as Country Chair for Mexico for the Advanced Leadership Foundation. 

Mijael Garrido
Peru Country Chair

Mijael Garrido Lecca is a businessman involved in the journalism and communication environment in Peru. He obtained a Law Degree at the Pontificia Universidad Catolica del Perú which led him to become in 2010 the director of Enfoque Derecho, the online journal of THEMIS, the civil association of his former University.

On March 2012 he founded the Diario Altavoz, the first national Peruvian digital journal that has received more than 11 million visits since 2013 and that adds more than 40 publications per day. Furthermore, he is currently involved in the Colombian website: La República, who is specialized in economical, business and financial aspects as a columnists, and also, he is the host of 90_Melodía at Latina, a brand of multi-screen audiovisual products.

During his career he has served as an editorial assistant at SE Semana Económica; as a columnist at El Comercio a national Peruvian gazette; as a digital business director for a large magazine named COSAS; and on November 2014 he became the director and partner of El Sanador a company designed to promote well-being through natural and healthy diet products.  

 

Macarena Arbulu
Program Director – Perú 

During his career she has served as an editorial assistant at SE Semana Económica; as a columnist at El Comercio a national Peruvian gazette; as a digital business director for a large magazine named COSAS; and on November 2014 he became the director and partner of El Sanador a company designed to promote well-being through natural and healthy diet products.  

Macarena Arbulu serves as Program MAnager of the Advanced Leadership Foundation in Lima, Peru. Macarena coordinates and oversees all operations of the office in Lima creating and assisting in the management of new projects and institutional relations. Macarena obtained a Business Administration Degree at the Universidad del Pacífico in Lima in 2011. Her professional experience expands in both the public and private sectors in Peru as a human resources analyst and an internal communications consultant. During 2013 she was named as the project manager of an initiative financed by the European Union as part of their International Cooperation towards Peru in order to promote quality project design and access to international funds in remote regions of Peru.  

She is passionate about promoting equality and making a difference in her community. In July 2015 she completed her Master in Development Studies at the University of New South Wales in Sydney. During her studies she volunteered supporting project management at important international non-governmental organizations such as Oxfam International and Save the Children. She was recently involved as an active partner in the operations of El Sanador, focusing on the development and growth of the company and brand.

Greece Country Chair

Gina joined Red Design Consultants in 1994 as a CEO / Partner. Red Design Consultants is a leading branding agency based in Athens, Greece serving major clients such as Saxo Bank, Eurobank, Lottomatica, Pepsico, Metaxa and collaborating with major brands in many countries such as Russia, Italy, USA, United Arab Emirates, Cyprus among others. One of Red Design Consultants' major achievements is creating the Emblem and the identity for the Athens 2004 Olympic Games.

Before that she was General Manager for J. Walter Thompson Advertising / Direct in Athens and initiated Direct Marketing. Her nine-year experience in the USA, from First Federal Savings to Esteé Lauder, led to her role as General Sales Manager for Paris Express Clothing, California, USA.

With more than 26 years of experience in the field of communications, Gina has been an active member of the Greek Advertising Association (EDEE) since 1992 and of the Managing Committee of Marketing (EIM) since 1998, as well as member of the Greek Communication Institute. She is also a media consultant at the American-Hellenic Chamber of Commerce. Gina holds a BA in Economics from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).
